BARTALK is a lecture performance and storytelling series hosted by Yun Lee and James Parnell. The series usually takes place in different bars in The Hague. Each event has its own theme where four guests with different perspectives are featured.

The theme for BARTALK #24 is Translation, and has the format of a podcast series. I was invited to share my research on transcribing social dance, the migration of dance, how dances are (mis)translated and how dances evolve.
